seeder Posted July 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Up, up and away! 'Jetman' flies beside US plane A Swiss adventurer, known as 'Jetman', has made his first public flight in the United States. Yves Rossy wore a custom-built jet suit which has four engines and is controlled with a throttle. He described his flying as "total freedom" and will be taking part in a week of air shows in Wisconsin. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-23500679 I wonder if we will see this in a James Bond movie soon? Q-C Posted July 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) Very cool! I'd like to try both the jet suit and a ride in the belly turret of the B-17. Edited July 30, 2013 by QuiteContrary

seeder Posted July 30, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted July 30, 2013 i need one of those. not 'want' need. more than oxygen..... Know what you mean!! It'd be even better if he could take off from the ground too, but I guess that'd take so much fuel it just wouldnt be feasible due to weight... But like with lots of tech, the passage of time sees things improved upon
