Can we tolerate intolerance ?

There are lines that you shouldn't cross for every situation, in both directions. Going to far either way is never good. Eating too much is bad, eating too little is bad. Stay in the middle.

Same with tolerance; too much, bad, too little, bad. You just need to find that line in the middle.

This talk of 'tolerance' is truly worth a chuckle. :)

Can we tolerate intolerance?

Lets say that intolerance will destroy tolerance, would tolerant person become intolerant?

It is an interesting paradox of modernity, that Western societies with their enlightenment ideals are now tolerating massive intolerance by new arrivals in Europe in the name of tolerance.

The famous German author Thomas Mann said "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." (He was thinking about the Nazis).

Alas, that lesson has been lost in Europe, and if modern society will survive this mistake remains to be seen.

Well I am lactose intolerant...

and I just stopped drinking milk and now I feel ok!

I guess I am not as intolerant to cheese as I am milk.
