Still Waters

All gardens require a little sprucing-up at the end of summer, but the staff at the world's largest topiary garden has got more work cut out than most, with the beginning of autumn signalling the start of their six-month long trimming.

This weekend marks the beginning of the snipping at Levens Hall in Cumbria, where the impressive topiary garden has been well looked after since 1694.

Despite the daunting task of tidying up the 10 acres of garden, the four-strong team is eager to get started.

Amazing that it's been around that long. By hand, huh? Gimme a chainsaw, and I'll have it done in a week. :w00t:
