spud the mackem Posted September 7, 2013 #52 Share Posted September 7, 2013 I learned about this in one of my medical training (I work in the health industry). This is a question I raised and apparently something else must have woken you up and that's when you smelt the fire....google it my friend cause I'm just relying on what a lecturer told me. I wouldnt dispute your Lecturer, but it happened, maybe I,m just weird,I also get premonitions of danger, which has saved my life at least 5 times.
Aggie Posted September 7, 2013 #53 Share Posted September 7, 2013 ^^^ I don't think you are weird.....there's always an explanation for everything and anything. Ok more facts: "Our eyes remain the same size from birth onward, but our nose and ears never stop growing." "The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue".

acute Posted September 12, 2013 #70 Share Posted September 12, 2013 Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth' is associated with bad luck, and is often called 'The Scottish Play' instead of being refered to by name. Basically, Macbeth is a victim of its own success! If a lesser-known play was doing badly, it might be cancelled, and Macbeth put on as a more popular replacement. Hence, the play became associated with bad fortune within theatrical circles.
