The quarks that make up a proton account for only thirty percent of it's mass. The rest is made up of virtual particles winking in and out of existence by quantum fluctuation

I learned about this in one of my medical training (I work in the health industry). This is a question I raised and apparently something else must have woken you up and that's when you smelt the fire....google it my friend cause I'm just relying on what a lecturer told me.

I wouldnt dispute your Lecturer, but it happened, maybe I,m just weird,I also get premonitions of danger, which has saved my life at least 5 times.

^^^ I don't think you are weird.....there's always an explanation for everything and anything. :tu:

Ok more facts:

"Our eyes remain the same size from birth onward, but our nose and ears never stop growing."

"The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue".

73% of the world beer is consumed in China.

33% of the world cigarettes are smoked in China.

And one I particularly like (LOL):

In Hong Kong a wife can legally kill her unfaithful husband, but she must do so with her bare hands.

Hong Kong is the place to be, eh?

In Chester you can shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow inside the city walls and after midnight.

Quite right too!

The term “smoking” wasn’t established until the late seventeenth century. Before then, it was often referred to as “Dry Drunkenness."

Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth' is associated with bad luck, and is often called 'The Scottish Play' instead of being refered to by name.

Basically, Macbeth is a victim of its own success!

If a lesser-known play was doing badly, it might be cancelled, and Macbeth put on as a more popular replacement. Hence, the play became associated with bad fortune within theatrical circles.
