Tea Party Flexes Muscle: Boehner Pressured

CyberKen

Recommended Posts

Time to move onto the next crisis. Tea Party is flexing its muscle and putting Speaker John Boehner in a tight spot

as shutdown looms. Lets shutdown the government. Newt did it the 1990s. We came through just fine.

http://www.foxnews.c...shutdown-looms/

Senator Ted Cruz is taking the lead.

Harry Reid has been reading the polling data! " The anarchists are winning !" LOL

That old fossil needs to return to Nevada. The dems need somebody new.

Reid and Boehner both, are just like many other politicians in Washington...A perfect example of why there need to be term limits.

I love Ted Cruz, as much as I love Rand Paul. They ARE fighting for the people. I like seeing that. I DREAM about voting a Paul/Cruz presidential ticket. (Yes, that is sad, I know....And I will be the first to admit, I am a little biased when it comes to Rand because I voted for his dad, Ron Paul in the past two elections. I love Ron Paul, he is a true patriot!) :)

Not sure who "we" are but it was a political disaster for Republicans. So go right ahead.

Wasn't it a Republican government that got shut down though?

Surely then in a Democrat government, it'll be a disaster for them.

Well then, the fact that they behave like bullies with the Democrats every time they are in opposition has gotta be getting old - how many times do they seriously think they have the right to pout like spoilt children who can't play with their favorite toy (the governance of America) so they won't let anyone else play either when it's their turn?

They are seriously on the nose for this endemic behaviour, it has national and global repercussions and it's the little guy with no voice that gets the brunt of it.

Obama gave a speech that didn't make any sense.

Then Senator Rand Paul spelled out the simple truth. Bombing Syria is wrong. Look for a political solution.

It looks like Obama is sitting in the middle of a political disaster. The Syrian Rebels are demoralized. Now Putin, Assad and those nuts

in Iran are emboldened. Now matters are worse. Obama is a failure internationally. We can all see that clearly.

-------

Domestically, the White House gave some bad news to the unions. No sweetheart deal for Trumka.

ObamaCare is a train wreck. Now the unions will side with the Tea Party. Repeal ObamaCare now!

The polling data has arrived. According to Dirty Harry Reid "The anarchists have won!"

It's over. Harry has spoken! Is the White House listening?

Obama is already on the ropes. He will have to cave on ObamaCare. A clear majority of Americans want ObamaCare repealed.

Make no mistake Lib, if the situation was reversed, the dems would be doing the same exact thing. Besides, this is coming cause of pressure from the people. These people have long forgotten that this is a government ran for by and of the people. And its time they remember that.

The dems got a wake up call in Colorado. 2 dems were successfully recalled.

Gun grabbing liberals lose every time. It's a mistake to attack the 2nd Amendment.

The Tea Party has momentum.

I'm pretty sure it's the people that elected them, do you remember that?

Also, do the Democrats have a history such as the Republicans of these types of blockages - genuinely interested.

Fixed your post for you :tu:

And aren't the Reps fingerprints all over the new Healthcare package? What was touted as "Obamacare" was drastically watered-down at the behest of the Reps to allow it passage through House and Senate, and many of the parts of it that are being criticised are Rep amendments.

So, isn't it rather hypocritical of the Reps to still call this "Obamacare", when it is as much their invention as the Dems, and also to criticise it in the first place? Of course, they know the short-duration of the voters memories will allow them to disclaim any involvement in the Healthcare Bill.

Another example of how govt is keeping the public ineffective at combating govt abuses via "divide and conquer".

Trumka was denied his sweetheart deal.

Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz are in charge right now.

Yadda yadda yadda...

You are simply repeating the same things over and over in the (vain) hope that something, if repeated often enough, will be seen as "the truth".

How about actually entering into the debate?

Now is a really bad time to ignore the polling data.

Obama and his minions don't do anything without first looking at the polling data.

Obama will not recover from this political disaster in Syria. - Amateur Hour at the White House -

Why?

It's not an election year, nor is it a mid-term. If govt gets shut down, the 'polling data' will change markedly - and not in favour of the Reps. Will you still be saying the same thing then?

Members in the House of Representatives never stop running for office. They run every 2 years.

Ignore the polling data at your own peril.

I think the Kitchen advertisement spam that pops up every now and then on this website, is more interesting than your political troll propaganda. Debating with you is like debating with a political info commercial.

You just keep repeating nearly the same crap, over and over again. You're just gonna make everybody sick of seeing your posts by doing that. At least try to put a little more effort into it, for godsakes!

Edit: Damn typos!

Political Propaganda = Obama is in the toilet

Senator Rand Paul and Obama should switch places. Obama is in over his head. Putin outmaneuvered Obama /Kerry.

Now the Tea Party is empowered to finish the job by repealing ObamaCare. A shutdown may not be necessary.

The White House may do a few political calculations and just sign the full repeal of ObamaCare.

The unions hate it. They were screaming the other day!

Are you a Rep Party (or Tea Party) activist who signed on here just to spout sound-bites? Or are you not a person at all, but some bot written to promote Rep propaganda? Because I'm starting to have my suspicions.

Sound bites? Just turn on your TV. Even Jon Stewart has turned on Obama.

The whole world can see the obvious. Obama was punked by President Putin.

Charles Krauthammer calls it " Amateur Hour at the White House".

Krauthammer also said "Obama has an Epically Incompetent foreign policy."

Don't run from the truth. Seek the truth.

Obama was "punked" because American foreign policy is laughably transparent and incompetent. Obama's foreign policy is not noticeably different to Bush's, or Ray-gun's for that matter. Whoever gets in next - Rep or Dem - will not have a noticeably different foreign policy.

Since WWII American foreign policy from both sides of the fence has essentially been dictated by the need of the MIC to sell it's wares. While you spout your divisionist propaganda with the intent of painting only one part of the American political arena as "wrong", you handily ignore they are all the same.

The "two party system" is not two parties....they are two wings of the same bird of prey...and we are the prey...

democrats_republicans_are_two_wings_of_the_same_bird_of_prey_zps15f0bb60.jpg

The MIC is pulling all the calls. They invest huge amounts of money into campaign contributions...our "representatives" are either direct stockholders or are stockholders in the supply chain further down the line and less obvious to see.

It's so broken that the hope of correction is almost impossible...
