Still Waters Posted September 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2013 A Berlin court has sentenced a Dutchman to community service for tricking officials into thinking he had lived in a forest for years with his father. Robin van Helsum, now 21, was accused of wrongfully claiming help from Berlin youth services for months after turning up in the German capital two years ago. He admitted making up a story that his parents were dead and he did not know who he was or where he was from. http://www.bbc.co.uk...europe-24281632 Germany's 'forest boy' made up story, police say http://www.bbc.co.uk...europe-18456812 Previous thread - http://www.unexplain...howtopic=214364

highdesert50 Posted October 5, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 5, 2013 Arthur Conan Doyle stated "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth." Which yields the corollary ... the obvious.
