Female worker's arm ripped off by tiger

A female employee at an Oklahoma zoo has lost her arm after being attacked by a tiger.

The attack occurred at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood early on Saturday morning.

According to the Garvin County Sheriff's Office, the woman was mauled by an adult tiger and has been air-lifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Unfortunately, it's the only way to protect the species at this point.

They are a hairs breath from extinction.

Doubt the animal will be killed:

1- Its an at risk/endangered species. So killing it would be extremely frowned upon

2- Fault lies entirely on the employee, had the tiger escaped its enclosure and mauled somebody they might have a case. However, the tiger was in its enclosure, the employee violated safety protocol, thus no blame could be put on the animal.
