Still Waters Posted October 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Fancy being wrapped up in E. coli? Clothed in MRSA? The very idea is enough to make your skin crawl, but for artist Anna Dumitriu it is a source of inspiration. She can turn these terrifying bugs into something strangely beautiful – by combining them with textiles. http://www.newscient...ml#.UmKiX1O90dV
freetoroam Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 This is just silly, we have far better means in finding out about bacteria and antibiotics than having it revealed on fabric. Some people have just got far too much time on their hands. Who knows what is out there still to be discovered or invented, which has not been done so already? BUT this little invention is not one to add to the archives of achievement, you do not have to use bugs to make something beautiful...she is clutching at straws to find something new.
