Plans - Within - Plans:Canadian Public Option

There are a few YouTube Videos of the Jon Stewart interview with Kathleen Sebelius. They have been removed for copyright

reasons. During the interview Jon Stewart seemed just overwhelmed with the whole ObamaCare mess. He stood up and said

"Why not just switch to the Single Payer System that they have in Canada?!!!"

Of course, the whole audience erupted with cheers and screams.

It looks like THIS was the plan all along. Rush Limbaugh talked about it today.

The Secular Progressives are just waiting for the ideal time to Flip - The - Narrative.

"Okay, ObamaCare is a disaster. It really IS too complicated. So, lets just switch to the Single Payer System !"

"It's soooooo easy and FREE !"

This explains why it was the New York Times that oddly - discovered ??? - that 5 million lines of code need to be

rewritten to fix ObamaCare.

The American people are being toyed with by Obama.

I would rather get back alley surgery than enter your Country. Maybe even Mexico back alley surgery. Or just let myself die.

You know it's bad when your source is a comedian...keep your head up Ken.

Don't underestimate Jon Stewart. As far as a communicator, he is the best they've got ! Really! He is!

Jon Stewart is a Secular Progressive. He does things for a reason.

Just last night Jon drove over ObamaCare with a bulldozer. Now i know why.

The Master Plan is to probably wait until January 1, 2014 and THEN .....Flip - The - Narrative.

It just might work!

Oh, well that's okay. Rush Limbaugh saw them discussing the Single Payer System on the Megyn Kelly Show last night.

Watch the Megyn Kelly Show instead. It comes on at 9 PM.

Go to the link at Rush Limbaugh above. He talks about it.

Well, i did a Google Search. It is what it is. Canada DOES have 15 Medical Tourism companies.

The Canadians have a choice:

- Wait 9 months for heart surgery

or

- Pick up the phone and call a Medical Tourism Company. They handle everything....the flight to Texas...hotel room..surgery....rehab.....

and the flight home to Canada.

That is the truth.

I can help you with that.

Here is the honest truth: Health Care -vs- ObamaCare

- Health care exists to treat and care

- ObamaCare exists to expand government, dependency and MOST OF ALL........control

Some people call it the Iron Fist of Socialism.

Do you see?

I tore up my knee years ago playing ice hockey when I was 20... my GP told me simple rehab was all that was needed even though the knee was twice the size and purple..... ten years later I waited 7 months to see a specialist who told me it should have been operated immediately after it was injured...... I was told the wait to have surgery would be minimum six months. I then made an appointment with a cosmetic surgion who told me I could hop across the border into America and get it done right away for 4 grand........ in the mean time I was on a waiting list and if a surgery was cancelled I could get in without much notice..... I pondered going to American for weeks and then the call came and I got in after 3 months

Thank you for sharing that !

If i were a Canadian and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest, i would reach for that credit card and fly to Texas.

Then i would send many Thank You notes to the Medical Tourism company that helped save my life!

I remember the night of my car accident (broke both ankles, I was riding shotgun,) I was picked up by the ambulance, taken to the hospital for an overnight stay, x-rayed, casted and given a wheelchair. I left the next day without paying a dime. Suddenly, I was ok with being taxed...

Always depends on the experience, does it not?

That sounded pretty good right up to the point where you said "without paying a dime".

I heard a rumor that the Canadians have a TAX called a GST Tax ( Goods and Services Tax).

So nothing is free. You paid through your GST.

Nice try though. :tu:

Always seek the truth.

You're absolutely right, when my dad had his heart attack, the hospital just left him in a corridor to die.

And when I had my panic attack (looks and feels just like a heart attack kids!) the hospital told me they'd see me in six months,

Ohh wait.

No.

The other thing.

Dad was admitted, under surveillance and drugged to the gills within minutes.

I was under doctor's observation in ten minutes.

I didn't pay a red cent.

And neither did dad for his stay in hospital.

(the follow up cardiologist appointments for us both were expensive and we only got a third or so of that back).

We have medical tourism companies too.

They're used by people who lack patience or were told by their doctors they're not getting those buttocks implants, not by people with LIFE THREATENING problems.

This is Australia, we're backwards, we don't have a minister for science but we do have one for sport, but we do know how to look after people who might be dying (it's "elective" surgeries that we play silly buggers with).

Well actually my Grandpa just had heart surgery. With in one week he was from diagnose to hospital surgery room. He's recovering fine, though gets a little tired from time to time. But hey he's 78. All done by OHIP. There are many lies and rumours out there for sure. I am not going to say that their are not wait times but it is do to Triage. The more severe get seen first and also the abuse of the Emergency room for something as simple as the common cold.

We have provincial and Federal tax, GST (Federal) and PST (Provincial) Some places like ontario have the HST (this was brought in to get more tax money since some items didnt get taxed by GST and some didnt get PST but now everything in Ontario gets the HST. (13%).

But the fact that it is paid through taxes means that no out of pocket expense if incured for life saving surgery. Nor can the surgery be denied if it is life saving.

That sounds horrible. How is anyone supposed to make a profit on your misery? Think of the children man. I mean the executives children. Those trust funds aren't going to fund themselves.

Should we pay your car insurance too since you're getting in accidents and needing help?

How is that related to healthcare? You don't choose to get sick. You choose to drive.

But is it not true that Canada spends far less on its medical care system than the US? The US has a big choice to make. Because of the aging population the system we had in place before will not work. It just is not possible unless we want to pay HUGE costs. Canada decided long ago to control costs- at the expense of time- hence the waiting lines. Now the US will have to make a choice, or be forced to make one. Either way it is going to happen. Obamacare IS a disaster, but what is the alternative? We cannot have our cake and eat it too. We need to figure out what to sacrifice and what to expand.
