A rather obscure Bassoon Posted October 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) It's not just Asteroids but Comets which lurk further out unseen.They usually only become visible when they move in closer to the Sun. Does not the thought of an object the Size of Mount Everest hitting the Earth send a chill down your spine ? It does me.
