From the report; "'Tests have involved forcing rodents to inhale diesel fumes to investigate their harmful effects and deliberately inflicting high levels of stress on baby animals to see if having a stressful childhood causes mental health issues in adulthood."

These tests are unnecessary and cause harm, and is thus the definition of animal cruelty. How convenient that these "lab models" are not considered animals for purposes of research.

“Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals and the answer is: 'Because animals are like us.'

“Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: 'Because the animals are not like us.'

“Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction.”
