Do you think Caddy is just giant oarfish?

Oarfish can get over 30 feet in length they can be huge it's quite easy to come to the conclusion that caddy sightings are just rare oarfish and descriptions of the supposed animal do match those of an oarfish.

very possible, but then you have lake montsers which could be large land mammals swimming

I have seen a video a long time ago with one swimming with it's head sticking out of the water.Very sea serpent description looking for sure.

I am of the opinion that lake monsters are besides misidentified other things like floating logs, are giant eels.

Yeah, I think it's possible. It's also possible that they could be misidentifications and hoaxes

There's too much that doesn't make sense with lake monsters for me.

This looks like a Moray Eel with tail dying.

I always wondered if it was a Basilosaurus, an extinct whale. That's if it exists of course. A clam digger brought the parts of a skeleton of one into the museum I once worked out of. It reminded me of some of the descriptions of American lake monsters.
