Still Waters Posted November 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2013 A family have broken the world record for the number of Christmas lights put up on a home - for the second time. The Richards family, of Canberra, Australia, have installed 502,165 lights around their house and garden. David Richards, a barrister, started work on stringing the 48km of wires around his property in early October. http://uk.news.yahoo...76.html#r5F3chU

Eldorado Posted November 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) Only me that thinks it looks horrible? Nice that it's a fundraiser but it's still an eyesore. Edited November 25, 2013 by Eldorado
Taun Posted November 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Brings to mind two things.. .First is the scene from National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation", when they turned on their house lights - the power company had to put another nuclear reactor on line... The second is the question "I wonder if these lights are visible from space?"...
