+susieice Posted November 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Never heard of this before so I looked it up. Found this. http://thelivingmoon.com/49ufo_files/03files2/1803_Japan_Utsuro_Bune.html Some one who was shipwrecked off the coast and survived maybe? The link doesn't say what happened to her but it does say she was seen in several places. Also led me to this story which is considered a Japanese fairy tale. http://etc.usf.edu/lit2go/72/japanese-fairy-tales/4834/the-bamboo-cutter-and-the-moon-child/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_the_Bamboo_Cutter Edited November 28, 2013 by susieice
seeder Posted November 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2013 I dont think exploring a 'legend' from 200 years ago will be productive at all. And 'round boats' were common at one time

zoser Posted November 29, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2013 The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to sharpen I would think it's more to do with being as we were meant to be rather than a sharpening of wits. The human race needs to integrate with it's natural religious purposes and play it's part with the rest of creation.
TrumanB Posted April 2, 2020 #7 Share Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) I found about this story on one youtube channel. I guess we'll never know if it's a myth or a beautiful girl really appeared in 1803. And these Hieroglyhs are very interesting!
