'A woman hid in the boot of her car for a day-and-a-half after a minor crash - to avoid the police while sobering up.

'When cops found the car crashed into a wall in Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland Palatinate on Saturday, they figured the driver had just left it there, and took it off to a garage.

'But the 30-year-old driver was huddled in the boot......'

Wow. That's just silly of her.

Of course, many people have fled the scene of a DUI wreck in the hopes of getting sober before being caught. Then when found a couple day's latter, and sober, merely claim reckless driving and extreme disorientation from the wreck. A potentially successful defense, to be sure.

But to put herself in her trunk of her wrecked car is, well, beyond stupid. How could she possibly explain that, sober or not.

Yeah. And speaking for myself, I have had my own "funny" and "horror" stories as well...
