The world’s toughest tongue twister?

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

Try saying "pad kid poured curd pulled cold" very quickly, ten times.

It might not make much sense, but the phrase has been labelled as the world's most frustrating tongue twister and defeated many volunteers taking part in a US speech study.

Its tough saying it quickly ten times but its just not fun...

The ones at the bottom of the page are more fun but this is my favourite.

I'm not a pheasant plucker I'm a pheasant plucker's son, I'm only plucking pheasants 'til the pheasant plucker comes

Much more fun when you run into the inevitable mistakes. ;)

Like the new avatar CR, shame you seem to have taken the humbug path on this one though. ;)

I might just hijack you Santa hat for my own avatar...

Rice field child labor.

Curd is pulled. Usually it's pulled warm.

Pulling it cold demonstrates that this pad kid person doesn't know how cheese is made.

Do you know about fresh mozzarella?

"She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore" actually is much harder to say than the new one they came up with.

If one is able to read the sentence and repeat, I did just a mere seven times before messing-up. Without a visual, not sure if I could do it past 3.

Is curd pulled cold the same as Stretched curd?

It took how many hours of research done by how many researchers to come up with this important item of universal human knowledge? And they got paid how much for it from whose money?

From my mom: A box of biscuits, a box of mixed biscuits, and a biscuit mixer. And let me know how many times you said bixit.

Curd pulled cold is probably curd broken. So it's not likely stretched.

I was thinking of the exact same phrase. That one is a b***h to say continuously. :)
