HOwever you defend the partiot act, which gives more power to the government to prey, peer and control the population IE: one of the great vices and central theme of communism, or the cheap lie that was stalinism(for now seeing as we know of no other practising type of communism i will define it as that for the pruposes of this argument).

Well i didn't see the relevance of this to the current topic, but hey, i might have written something earlier on that i've forgotten about.

I see quite a difference between socialism/communism and the implementation of the Patriot Act, the Patriot Act is more like looking over the shoulder of citizens as opposed to direct control of them. Can the Patriot Act be abused? of course, just like any other law out there, however there are allot more checks and balances involved that say "it is stalin's will", when Michael Moore gets dragged off and shot for throwing around his political viewpoint, maybe you can call me a hypocrit.

My biggest problem with Socialism happens to be its equality, redistribution of the wealth, welfare state attitude, that said, i thought it was quite clear that i have political views from all over the spectrum...yay gay marriage, yay choice, boo universal healthcare, boo government handouts!
