Hazzard Posted January 3, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 3, 2014 I can understand why some of you guys like the "Earth ion control firing against the evil ET intruders" version better than the mundane, I really can. But in reality,... The flicker of light we see is the result of firing of the attitude thrusters on the orbiter, and the abrupt motions of the particles result from the impact of gas jets from the thrusters.
Hazzard Posted January 3, 2014 #27 Share Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) I don't know what the moving objects were in the video but I don't think ice crystals evade other objects heading towards them. Thats the 2D part of your brain speaking,... Space is 3D. Edited January 3, 2014 by Hazzard

Oppono Astos Posted January 3, 2014 #31 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Because the "rest of us" don't look or judge things from a neutral stand point. It is well proven medically that our brains can only see what we want to see. Subjectivity seems to be a very rare quality And objectivity is an even rarer quality here
JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #32 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Why would all live shuttle feeds were cancelled following that happening... ? It just adds fire to all the cover up and conspiracy allegations. Why would you believe such a claim? Don't you ever watch NASA video feeds from space?
JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #33 Share Posted January 3, 2014 And the object emanating from the earth? No one even attempts to explain that; even the NASA scientist in the clip. Total speculation and despite what Uncle Jim says I find the ice theory unconvincing. NASA's silence is very accusing. The only missing attempt is Zoser's attempt to understand the suggested prosaic explanation [and NASA's clear explanation way back at the time]. Zoser still won't even tell whether he thinks the scene was shot in daytime or nighttime, he's that deliberately clueless.

How come no one (even NASA specialists) avoid trying to explain the projectile object?
zoser Posted January 3, 2014 #35 Share Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) Not the ice crystals again. Correct it's not. It never was. Perhaps one of the lamest excuses to deny the existence of UFO's I've ever heard. If people were convinced about the ice they would not keep bringing the matter up in every other thread. Don't blame me; I only work here. Edited January 3, 2014 by zoser

taniwha Posted January 3, 2014 #39 Share Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) Why would you believe such a claim? Don't you ever watch NASA video feeds from space? I take it then that all live shuttle feeds continued unedited after that video? I was only going off the commentary in the OP. And yes I believe stuff sometimes when I know no better . And yes I would like to watch live NASA feeds if you can link me thanks Jim. Oh and what did the video in OP capture in your opinion. JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #40 Share Posted January 3, 2014 NASA is so deep in denial, its not even funny. Gordon Cooper knows this as do a few others I think. Where did Gordon Cooper ever say anywhere that NASA had any UFO secrets? Serious question -- I don't know of any, and I corresponded with him -- even met him once. Can you cite any evidence to back up what you said?
JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #41 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Oh and what did the video in OP capture in your opinion. I've studied it more deeply than any other investigator, and found technical context evidence that nobody else knew existed. I explain why I concluded it was a small nearby particle, in a debate in 1999 with Greer, described in detail on my home page which I recommend to you. www.jamesoberg.com/ufo.html

It comes from many comments he has made over the years, but specifically in comments that he made in the book "Earth an Alien Enterprise" by Timothy Good. Great read. Sir Wearer of Hats Posted January 3, 2014 #45 Share Posted January 3, 2014 According to the video in the OP a possible candidate location for such a projectile was some military installation near Alice Springs Australia. 'Pine Gap' I believe it's called. Pine Gap's part of the ECHELON Network that doesn't exist, not a missile facility (as IIRC they're not allowed in Australia unless they're under Australian control). WhispersInTheAttic Posted January 3, 2014 #46 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Wow, that's creepy indeed! I think a lot of people try to deny that aliens even exist. And many people try to cover it all up. That's why aliens and ufos have always interested me. Ever since I was eight years old, I've read books about them, watched videos and TV shows. Cause I do believe they exist.
JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #47 Share Posted January 3, 2014 I've got a lot of respect for that guy. Few people would have related the account of that UFO landing the way he did. This statement, ironically, is even MORE true than you think. NOBODY else EVER related the same account, ALL other witnesses agree the object never landed. James McDonald researched it in the mid-1960s and testified before Congress about it. NO landing, and also, NO "Cooper" present. They never saw him, either. Do YOU believe Cooper witnessed the landing despite this?
JimOberg Posted January 3, 2014 #48 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Projectile from earth or ice? I guess you admit to self-imposed ignorance [it shows!!], since I answer that in my report: ice. Over to you. Tit for tat. I answered your question, now you gotta answer mine, it's only fair.

Great read. I think you're imagining things, but you made the claim, so you owe us checkable links, not hand-waving. We want to see him saying that stuff, not Tim Good imagining he might have said that stuff. Put your evidence where your mouth is. Bet you can't.
