I think we need a new verse for this song:

Big cow bums.

"So significant is the problem in fact that some scientists believe methane emissions from cows have been a contributing factor in global warming."

Give me a break.

Never heard of such a thing as explosions from cows breaking wind in the past. Definitely need more ventilation in barns nowadays. When I was a kid barns were very aerated.

I hope that cow is ok. I wouldn't want anything to happen to it before it becomes my hamburger.

Hmmm, so that's how Mrs. O'leary's cow actually started the great Chicago fire: bovine bio-gas.

Wasn't there a study done about 20 years ago that concluded cow flatulence was causing the hole in the ozone? Guess they never found a way to keep cows from breaking loose.

BBQ! I wonder if the methane can be harnessed as an alternative fuel?

BBQ! I wonder if the methane can be harnessed as an alternative fuel?

Indeed it can. Cow pats were the staple heat source of mediaeval peasantry. The real question is, based in modern society, can the fuel be harvested and refined to the extent that the power input to source such fuel is less than the power output of methane, thus making the process a viable alternative.

My guess is no, but you never know.
