Still Waters Posted January 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2014 The name her parents gave her is so heinous, so cruel, that she rarely speaks it. It comes out of her mouth as a two-syllable shudder. Sheila. "I absolutely hate it," Ranea Crabtree said. "I think it's really ugly." http://www.dispatch....in-a-namex.html
Bendy Demon Posted January 31, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I think that she will very soon tire of the name "Sexy". Her middle name, however sounds nice and unique; "sexy" is not. Overall it sounds like she is filled with a horrifically overinflated sense of self worth. Oh well...that's her business.

AbyssWalker Posted January 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Maybe it's just to get someone to say "Hey there, Sexy" Whatever, I won't judge, it's just a name.
Hasina Posted January 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Dumb. Plain and simple. Like the name Sheila. Well, it's not dumb, just plain and simple. But hey, her life, her name, her screw up.

seeder Posted January 31, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Worryingly perhaps was this sentence - "the Pataskala woman will stand in front of a Licking County judge" Sexy? Licking judge? Wtf? She could have just changed it to something normal and fitting, like erm, Dinah Soare.. . Still Waters Posted February 1, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Imagine when she's 90 and someone says "Hi Sexy"..... I was thinking that, but then I thought by the time she reaches that age she'll be so well used to her name that she won't think anything of it. BiffSplitkins Posted February 12, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 12, 2014 What's in a name? An Ohio woman by any other name would be just as sexy. Sheila Ranea Crabtree has legally changed her first name to Sexy. The Associated Press reports a judge approved the 41-year-old mother's request on Tuesday. Crabtree -- Sexy Crabtree now -- told the Licking County (yes, really) court that she thought Sheila was "the ugliest" name possible and hated it for years. The Pataskala, Ohio, resident added that her husband and teenage daughters approved of the name change, too. "I feel like I'm a free-spirited person, I love to have fun, and this is the last piece to make my life complete," she said, according to The Columbus Dispatch. Crabtree added that the name reflects her personality as she wears "Victoria's Secret clothes all the time." READ MORE That's it! I'm changing my name to Studmuffin! rashore Posted February 12, 2014 #14 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Thought this pretty silly when we had the thread about this gal applying for the name change.. Extra silly now that a judge approved it too.
