I would go with hoax or marketing stunt. In fact, I would swear that I've seen that creature in a film or video game.

It looks like it could've been a leopard seal but there is no location, time frame etc.

Looks like some type of real animal head to me. Eyes look far apart, could help identify it.

But then again the last time I saw a decapitated animal head was, hmmm, never ago.

I agree and looks to have been in the water for quite awhile, which distorts things.

Hmmm I'm not sure what to think. I'll come back to my thoughts on this. :)

My mind seems kind of clouded right now.

My uncle has seen and fed this very same creature many times on the west coast of Vancouver Island. He has shown me many photos. My Tablet seems to be possessed by the devil so I cant post links, so google wolf eel and bob's your uncle. They are very Inteligent for an eel and no two seem to have the same "face"? My uncle Told me that many seem to have a personality and are quite gentle with divers who hand feed and touch them on a regular basis.

Way to big for a wolf eel and the snout is mammalian.

The decapitated head in that pic is not nearly as horrific as the man-breasts.

i believe they're called either moobs or mooters

but yes horrifying by any name lol

This is actually just a prop for an art photo

This is a fake, though it was never intended as a hoax. The image in question is scanned from a book called Charlie White published in 2001 by Goliath. It contains a number of excellent photographic essays produced by capable special effects technicians that tell macabre and disturbing stories. This one is one of a series entitled "In a Matter of Days".

The creature was designed by renown creature designer Jordu Schell with assistance by Mario Torres and Mark Villialobos and was shot in either LA or Pasadena. The photographer was Craig Ashby. Extras were provided by Cameo Casting.

As cool as the image is, it is actually illegal to exhibit it without the permission of Goliath, so it should probably be taken down.

Hope this clears things up. Sorry to disappoint you guys. [/b]
