8 fascinating mysteries - Curiosity from Mars

Hi everyone

I was actually thinking for quite some time to compile a list of the most mysterious happenings on Mars every since the latest rover curiosity landed on Mars. I will try to keep it sweet short and straight to the point.

1) First day on Mars Landing. Right after descending, first screenshot of the Alien Planet the guidance camera is catching in the distance something that was not there then it was. Nasa scientists were offering some explanation that the rover actually might have caught up in the camera exactly the explosion of the carrying module with crane.

2) The second history in chronological order was the so called "self shed" Plastic looking millimeter particle that initially was thought to be par from the rover's robotic wiring arm coat but then many more have been found. Further scrutiny now suggests that at least some of the unidentified particles are in fact native to Mars. Images show light-toned particles embedded in clumps of excavated soil, implying that they couldn’t have been shed by the rover. NASA is currently preparing to take a third sample from the site as well as more pictures, which should help them figure out whether the bright bits are unwelcome litter or something worthy of delivery to the rover’s on-board lab equipment. Silence has been falling over this subject..no more updates in regards.

3) The "Martian Flower" The first "living rock" or microorganism pictures on Mars? You be the judge. Nasa never release any more updates regarding this discovery.

4) Whoa, look at this shiny metallic object on Mars. Its shape and forms were not provocative enough for the Rover Curiosity to explore it furthermore.

5) Animals on Mars? An experiment performed to see whether life from earth can be brought up on Mars? Squirrel, rat? Astonishing resemblances!

6) Metallic objects spotted on Mars, space junk?

7) The mystery rock on Mars that has NASA 'completely confused. Scientist sues Nasa for refusing to investigate the "rock that grows" .Few days ago while the Rover was taking picture of the sol was just embedded then it just popped from its initial shape.

8) Has Nasa spotted an UFO on Mars? In one of the most recent pic a flying object appears in the distance.

Well then perhaps you can enlighten us with a few points where media coverage has failed to provide more specifications. What happened with point 2? How about 3 or 4 ?

Nothing but naturally occurring rocks that take an awful lot of squinting and a fair bit of imagination to turn them into "Mars Anomalies" imho....but I do like the 'Duck rock'! :P

The only thing that hasn't been explained by NASA is #7, the rock that showed up out of nowhere and they are still investigating that.

And that one isn't even from Curiosity as the OP suggests, but rather from Opportunity. If it had been Curiosity, we'd probably know a lot more about said rock by now.

For example the shiny particles found on Mars and mystery number 2, i would-like to know more about. This has never been debunked. It was not a shed from rover. They found many more , everywhere.

Didn't they turn out to be evidence of water? I am unable to recall the details immediately of the composition of the tiny spheres, but they were, and are, embedded in rock, and it looks like erosion set them free, and they probably gathered on the bottom of a water body.

Yeah... I totally trust the intelligence and mutarity of most of the UM members to explain any type of mystery. -.-
