Resh Posted February 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Hey, so ive been meditating lately with my eyes open without blinking. Recently Ive started to see white smoke, more like vapor starting to flow from the corners of my eye. Now for the past couple of weeks Ive been seeing it more often on regular situations like while watching TV or while sitting in class. What do you guys think it means?

Brian Topp Posted March 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) If you manage not to blink long enough, you will start to see the creatures that are usually invisible to us. Your brain doesn't want you to know the truth so it forces you to keep blinking before your eyes can adjust to seeing these creatures. If you need to know the truth than open your eyes, if you wish to keep living in this illusion then keep them closed. Really though, Eyes tend to dry out, become irritated. Maybe a little dusty. Blinking moves particles out of the eyes that have settled on them. It also stimulates the tear ducts to release a little moisture. With contacts covering the eyes, blinking doesn't have as much effect, so re-wetting drops are necessary to replace moisture under the lenses, and remove dust particles. So the white things could be dust Edited March 1, 2014 by Brian Topp
Crabby Kitten Posted March 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Meditation is best with eyes closed. Having your eyes open may cause irritation and some strain. What you're doing doesn't seem to be very relaxing, but that's just my opinion.
