The DIY Engineer Who Built A Nuclear Reactor

My grandpa wasn't as raw looking as this man. However, he reminds me of my grandpa.

My G-pa told me a story about having his TV fixed by a friend. You know, one of those tube or transistor TVs used in the early 70's. Anyway, his friend had a TV sitting in the middle of the room, with no electrical lines running to it, but it was on and playing the news. In the 70's, it was running wirelessly, for power and reception. G-Pa asked him why he didn't want to patent it. The "genius" replied "Do you know how many people in this country it would put out of work?"

The Great Depression memories will do that to a person, I suppose.

Thank you for posting the video.
