EllJay Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Have you ever ridden on a pelicans beak? Now you can...sort of. After a particularly nasty storm, a pelican stumbled ashore at the secluded Greystoke Mahale resort in Tanzania. The pelican, named Bigbird by the staff, was abandoned by his flock because he couldn’t fly. Luckily for him, resort workers took him in and helped him on his way. And luckily for us, they put a GoPro camera on his beak so we could see his first flight. Bigbird takes a journey around Mahale Mountain National Park, playing high-flying virtual tour guide for the area’s natural wonders. http://higherperspec...s-eye-view.html

EllJay Posted March 12, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) looked animated It is the perspective the GoPro-cameras gives you that make it look a bit unnatural. It's like a sort of fisheye-lens to it I think. Have a look at this shot of a Lion-Hug with The Lion Whisperer, aka Kevin Richardson. It also is a GoPro-camera. PS: Who haven't wished they could do this with a couple of lions. Edited March 12, 2014 by EllJay
