seeder Posted March 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2014 OK in the recent news we have this Picture of a UFO hovering over Cleveland in Queensland, following a sighting at Mt Annan the previous week in December, MT ANNAN is fast becoming Australia’s very own of Roswell, with yet another UFO sighting reported in the suburb last week. Stargazer and Mt Annan resident Raksha Martinovic said she and her husband were looking up at the stars at 11.15pm on March 22 when they spotted strange lights in the sky. Earl.Of.Trumps Posted March 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Seeder, too bad there is nothing else in pic 1 to use as a reference. Nice looking, though. pic 2 - is it even legal to have more than the mandated number of lights on a craft? that just looks so wrong!
taniwha Posted March 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Its hard to tell from the pic if it is solid with lights or many lights in formation, just cant open the link to read more.

ChrLzs Posted March 31, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 31, 2014 The descriptions are a bit misleading when it comes to the supposed proximity of locations.. Cleveland is in Queensland, near Brisbane. Mount Annan is in New South Wales, near Sydney. Approximately 1,000 km (or 620 miles) away by road. It's a very confusingly written article, and there seems to be no source info whatsoever for the first image, only that it was in Cleveland, Qld. I can't be bothered spending time trying to unravel articles written with this level of incompetence. A special hi to the article writer - Sean Thompson of the Macarthur Chronicle Camden. I'm hoping one day one of these folks will Google themselves and turn up here to discuss the disjointed ramblings they pretend is 'journalism'.... PersonFromPorlock Posted March 31, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Very similar to the Lubbock Lights of 1951. IIRC, they were explained as streetlights in the town below being reflected off the white breasts of migrating plover. You might want to check if the town lights are blueish (keeping in mind that digital cameras can shift colors quite a lot) and what sort of migrating birds you have with reflective breasts and nocturnal habits. scowl Posted April 1, 2014 #14 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Another fast debunking... There's not much to go on when you take a photo of twelve blurry lights. I wish the media wouldn't call something another "Roswell" when no spacecraft have crashed there and no alien bodies have been recovered there. scowl Posted April 2, 2014 #16 Share Posted April 2, 2014 UFO detection glasses developed by ZOSERLABS Ltd. You can quickly adjust them so that every light in the sky looks blurry enough to be mistaken for an alien spacecraft.
Thorvir Posted April 2, 2014 #17 Share Posted April 2, 2014 They wouldn't be UFOs if they were clearly seen. Blurriness is a necessity for understanding and accepting.
