Waspie_Dwarf Posted April 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2014 LJMU astronomers challenge cosmological model Astronomers Professor Chris Collins and Dr Ian McCarthy from LJMU’s Astrophysics Research Institute are challenging the view that the currently preferred cosmological model of the Universe is correct. They are comparing recent measurements of the cosmic background radiation and galaxy clusters in two independent studies partly funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council. They discovered that the Universe was far flatter and smoother than predicted, leading to a rethink of what the Universe is made of and how it evolved into the stars and galaxies we see today.Read more... The universe expanded faster than anyone can say ' Cheeeese' anyway, so any picture we have of it will obviously be a changing one. We are limited by what we are unable to percieve. We really have to project more than mathematics to get a clear view of the back of our heads, that is the problem with most these theories.
