A butcher has created a "treat" for Easter by wrapping a Cadbury's Creme Egg in sausage meat and covering his creation in a lime and chilli coating.

Graham Eyes is selling the dubious delicacy at his butcher's shop in Southport, Merseyside.

Mr Eyes said: "It looks like one [a traditional Scotch egg] but that's as far as the similarity goes.

Got a feeling that hundreds of people flocking to get their hands on this scotch creme egg

When I say hundreds, I mean even more people, who flocked to see the glowing Virgin Mary statue in Belgium

Sounds good to me. Then again, both of my parents are pretty experimental with their cooking, so I guess maybe it's just my upbringing.
