Space Station Live: Improving Capturing Earth Imagery

SSL interview with Burgess Howell, the payload developer and principal investigator of the ISERV experiment on the International Space Station. The ISS SERVIR Environmental Research and Visualization System, which captures images of Earth through a window in the station's Destiny laboratory, is testing methods of improving automatic image capturing and data transfer, but the images it captures are also useful to environmental scientists, disaster response teams, and other users on Earth. NASA's SERVIR project operates in partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development.
