markdohle Posted April 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Good Friday (2014) A simple wooden beam place on the shoulders, becomes an instrument of torture, the falls painful beyond words, to a man already scourged and crowned with thorns, death seldom pleasant or fast, (for any of us) the Romans masters in dragging it out this suffering, then the nails thought the wrist as well as the feet, a process created for pain, torture and execution all in one. Death awaits, body drained of blood, man is good at causing others pain, we struggle to love, revenge is sweet, we call it justice, yet in the midst of it all, Christ forgave all.
