Bizarre rotating object pictured over Paris

It kind of looks like they went to the trouble of making it appear that shadows of the buildings show on the UFO, but they've forgotten to put the shadow of the UFO onto the walls of the opposite buildings. Unless the buildings on the near side are like twice as tall as those on the far side?

The Sun reaches almost to the street, so you'd expect some kind of shadow...

Yeah, they missed out on a few things, but it is a pretty impressive clip anyways. You get feeling of a patrolling sentinel cruising the district for unruly humans.
