Mantis914 Posted May 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 6, 2014 Why do I get the feeling that this story isn't over yet. He seems to get good and bad at or nearly at the same time so it's got to equal out. We should call him Longshot like the Marvel character...

+Noteverythingisaconspiracy Posted May 6, 2014 #19 Share Posted May 6, 2014 You might say this man also qualifies as a very lucky unlucky man too. Unlucky : He was at both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombings. Lucky : In both instances he was about 3 km from ground zero, but survived both. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsutomu_Yamaguchi

Ashyne Posted May 7, 2014 #23 Share Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Nothing is luck here. It is just he has good survival skills. Just like you can throw 10 people down 3 floors of a building to the ground. Those who know how to position their bodies and land correctly will more likely survive. Are they lucky, or just more skilled and hence have a higher chance of survival? Edited May 7, 2014 by Ashyne
