Spiders learning how to catch and eat fish

More spiders are learning how to catch and eat FISH, new research reveals.

The eight-legged creatures lie in wait by garden ponds and lakes, reach in to grab passing fish then drag them off to devour them.

And for those who think this is the behaviour of giant species in the tropics of Africa, Australia or America, it even applies to European varieties including some found in the UK.

Just a heads up, Arachnids started out as aquatic creatures. Look up giant sea scorpions sometime.

Guess it is natural that the larger the specimen, the larger its food supply needs to be in order to satisfy its nutritional requirements. After all there is a bird eating spider too!

Watch out for spiders at your local pub ordering a delicious plate of fish and chips!

Serious note, pretty damned cool, it's amazing how nature works.
