Q-C Posted July 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) I'd have to put this video up with the one of that snake opening doors and turning on lights as far as "I'd have never guessed" I had no idea that a turtle would not only push around ball, but run after it and defend it from a dog. Maybe it thinks it's another turtle? Idk. Anyway, I found it pretty interesting. http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/offbeat/2014/07/06/orig-distraction-turtle-dog-soccer.valeria-dinnocenzo.html Edited July 8, 2014 by QuiteContrary

Frank Merton Posted July 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Now we know dogs like to play but turtles? I always thought they were such businesslike creatures, but that has just gotta be play.
Lilly Posted July 8, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2014 OMG! Just too funny/cute! I think Mr Turtle is convinced the ball is a girlfriend. Mr Jack Russell thinks it's all just fun and games. The result is adorable.
Taun Posted July 8, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 8, 2014 I'd never seen a turtle 'play' like that before... pretty cool... Turtles are not really known for their sense of humor (or sharing), as the dog found out...
libstaK Posted July 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Very cute, I like how the dog is playful but not imposing on the turtle, they act like mates having a friendly game of soccer.
