DieChecker Posted August 8, 2014 #51 Share Posted August 8, 2014 Yeah, "enhanced with a clearer image of the animal" "The company donated nearly six hours of their time to the city to improve the quality of the video." I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought my brain was fuzzy. Which it tends to be but, I couldn't see any real improvement. That's why I hoped it wasn't the cleaned up one. Is Norwalk in desperate need of tourism or something? Well, perhaps it was some young buck just out of college who had started a "Tech Company" (AKA bought some business cards), and was trying to get attention? Guest Nathan DiYorio Posted August 9, 2014 #52 Share Posted August 9, 2014 It certainly looks like a cat, but not a lion. I think looking at it compared to the car... it doesn't look large enough to be a lion. At least, not an adult.

Conrad Clough Posted August 13, 2014 #55 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Clearly seems like a dog to me, when it first waks onto the screen its mouth is open, tongue lolled out and it appears to be panting.
Wyverna Posted August 14, 2014 #56 Share Posted August 14, 2014 It's a whale! They're returning to land But anyways, I'm just going with consensus that it's a known animal, either dog or cat. (I'm kind of leaning towards dog right now, but I'm not 100% sure). If it is in fact a big cat, maybe it's an escaped exotic pet? I wonder how common having a big cat as a secret pet is. Warrior1256 Posted August 14, 2014 #57 Share Posted August 14, 2014 The head looks very dog like when it first appears on camera. I tend to agree with the conservation officer that it's probably just an old dog. Same here.
