CaptainHindsight Posted August 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) This looks like the work of a commited and well read person, here is the link to his blog. http://jumpingjackfl...blogspot.co.uk/ Here is a brief sysnopsis of the theory.. The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event. Go to the site for more, including a massive list of events which could be explained by this theory. (they could also have other explanations but you never know) He says there will be more unexplained fires as certain materials absorb the gasses and become very volitile, animal die offs, human deaths, unusual vehichle accidents, as people and animals get gassed to death. 2 breaths of the gas and you're a gonner. Could this be happening now? There are quite large numbers of fish and aquatic life die offs (all linked to above) The random fires could be just that of course, but they could fit with this explanation. What do yous reckon? (did a search, couldn't find this here, I know the site is a few years old now, but now he's had time to collate evidence....) jaylemurph Posted August 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) I think "commited" is a very apposite way to describe the originator of this "theory". Or at least it should be. --Jaylemurph Edited August 4, 2014 by jaylemurph

+DieChecker Posted August 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2014 When people point out the various killer gases that are submerged underground, or under the ocean, I wonder why those huge deposits didn't pop to the surface during the glaciers, when miles of ice were resting on them, or when those same glaciers had the ocean levels down 50 m, why those undersea deposits didn't depressurize and blast the Earth's creatures all dead? Doom talk is pretty much a lot of "What IF?", which likely will never happen. MIGHT happen, but probably will not.
shrooma Posted August 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) the words 'sh¡t' 'of' and 'full' come to mind- but not necessarily in that order..... . Edited August 4, 2014 by shrooma
