Fortunately Bertha took a right turn. It's been raining everyday for two weeks down here and the heat and humidity are brutal. :(

Been to Phoenix for a little while few years back in April, apparently you could cook eggs on the pavement

The rubber melts off the bottom of your shoes leaving thick viscous bouncy material all over the side walks....all day long children bounce in long gating strides as if on a trampoline or the moon.
