Poppi Posted July 27, 2016 #3438 Share Posted July 27, 2016 This time of year gives us thunderstorms. The very hot dry air collides with the cool moist coming West over the Rockies. Last week we had hail ranging from pebble to golf ball size (during the same storm)...the variety in size might mean there were high winds (yes) pushing hail back up into the sky, causing them to become larger as they fell down again...There was several tornado warnings, and could see the dark green lower clouds moving in an opposite direction to the lighter clouds above...Was in a tornado in Edmonton back in the 90's, which killed a bunch of folk in a trailer park.
