Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko Woo reports

Rosetta has reached Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko after a decade long journey and is beaming back amazing images of the comet as it hurdles towards the Sun. A detailed discussion is available here in the Space News - Exploration and Spaceflight forum if you want images and details http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=270419&st=0. In November, Rosetta will release Philae, a science probe, which will land on the comet surface and conduct various experiments. Great stuff and amazing science

What about the woo sites though? How are the ET enthusiasts handling this? Just a quick search found this idiotic article discussing a pareidola that resembles a face and accuses NASA (Rosetta is an ESA instrument, NASA isn't even participating) of intentionally blurring out an alien's image http://www.ufosightingsdaily.com/2014/08/rosett-orbiter-takes-photo-of-face-on.html

Other than that I couldn't find much. The FTB's are strangely quiet in regards to this mission. Any other woo out there?

That "face" is absolutely pathetic

No reason for this to be in the UFO section, no matter how you try and stretch it to work with 'enthusiasts'.

Does anyone remember Starchy? This rather reminds me of him.

The operators of most woo sites know perfectly that if they admit that something like "science" exists they can close up for lack of credibility. That is why there is no reaction.

I guess blaming NASA for hiding the "thruth" is just an automatic response for some people.

He even claims that he got the pictures straight from NASA, which is probably going to surprise the ESA scientists that are responsible for it.

The 3rd Picture that is used is clearly marked ESA, so it shows quite well the level of research that has been done !

Are they indeed?

They do have an article regarding "the face", however in their defense it is presented as pareidolia and nothing more so at least they're not wooing all over everyones face.

Good Heavens, I had no idea that webpage still existed. Amazing how ignorant and uneducated some people will allow themselves to be. It can only be deliberate, as how else can one write such nonsense?

IQ's between 70 and 89. There is no other answer because a clear thinking person couldn't believe this stuff. Education is no longer a reliable measure, IMHO, unless the degree is in the hard sciences from a respectable school.
