The glowing beings of Badajoz Ravine

Keith Pattison de Bellasis: Located off the North Western coast of Africa is the volcanic archipelago of the Canary Islands. The largest of these islands, Tenerife, is home to Europe’s tallest volcano and the third tallest on earth; this island is also home to an enduring mystery, one that encompasses unexplained deaths, a terrifying unknown creature, and strange glowing humanoids... Tenerife, like many islands of volcanic origin, has a wealth of precious and semi precious gems including the famous Tenerife Diamonds – the most highly prized of all diamonds in the world due to their lustrous yellow colour. As you would expect, mining has been a large part of Tenerife life, with many production mines still in operation and even more mines with their extensive galleries now lost to the fog of time, beyond human remembrance. I would like to share with you the first in an occasional series of Tenerife based legends, myths and Unexplained Mysteries.

Keith, I've heard of two similar stories and they are included in my soon to published ebook: Physics of UFOs & Bizarre Humanoids. The details are amazingly the same..

I'd like to include a link to this article with a quick summary. Do I have your permission please?

I was contacted by someone who got scared of this story which is the reason for posting a debunk comment.

A seach for Tennerife Diamonds comes up only with jewelry shops in Tennerife

https://www.google.com/search?q="Tenerife+Diamonds"

They probably got confused with "Canary yellow diamonds" which come from South Africa and have nothing to do with the Canary Islands

Barranco de Badajoz does exist and people claim to have seen apparitions there but it is not a mine, it's a ravine.

The story is clearly made up.

I have never heard of diamonds from Tenerife - and I used to handle insurance from De Beers so am not entirely ignorant of the subject

And whilst Teide is the highest mountain in Spain, and the highest volcano in Europe, its not by any means one of the highest in the world
