Being sat with 3yr old Jack at Mc a well known fast food outlet.  He had a hap red boxed meal which contained chicken bites and fries, I had a double cheese burger.  Jack dismissed his meal preferring to eat mine.  His excuse was, "I save mine for later Mork."

I bet that beard has its own eco-system and shopping mall!

The run up to the Winter Solstice makes me happy, especially when I know my boy is coming to stay with me for a week! :D

Every Christmas Eve on Radio Nottingham Santa arrives in the studio to chat with excited children over the phone.  Its always a real joy to listen to their loving voices as they talk so softly with Santa.  When Santa asked one little girl what she wanted, her reply was for her Nars(granny) arm to get better.  Another little girl asked Santa if her younger brother was on his naughty list this year :D

Having a house full again this Christmas and watching the grandkids opening gift after gift... Later after eating a small feast  everyone was in the family room either on chairs, couches or laying on the floor with blankets and pillows watching Christmas vacation...

A nice cup of coffee on a freezing cold morning.

Another thing we have in common.

What about that feeling when you have just started a fire (in the fireplace) and that new warmth spreads through your hands....yeah that makes me happy

Sitting in my recliner and looking out the window watching the snow fall...It's so quiet and and peaceful looking almost like a Christmas card...

Yep, that's a good feeling. Especially if you've been out in the freezing cold.
