I mostly cycle everywhere, not to be a fitness freak, but i'd like to stay healthy long enough to really enjoy spending the pension I hope to qualify for eventually. I'd always felt young and indestrucible until I broke an ankle in my mid-thirties (nothing cycling related), after that I realized that I no-longer bounced, instead I broke, Anyway, my journey to work takes me along a busy road with too many HGV's and not enough room and no cycle lane.

For a long time I used to be terrified when ever i set off for work, I felt genuinely fearful. Eventually I grew in confidence, I began to enjoy flying passed the traffic that's backed up for a mile, and when approaching the traffic lights the road becomes 2 lanes at the junction, whizzing along between the cars evoking images in my mind of a X-Wing hurtling along the trench of the Death Star.

I always smile when I reach my destination, uninjured

Believe me this is not mean't to offend anyone, but I thought it was great that Trump got elected President.

Not because I think he's the right man or the wrong man for the job, but it proves that anyone can take part in a democracy, it doesn't matter how well you did at school, how well you score on an IQ test and it doesn't matter if you have no previous experience.

Obviously it helps if you have lots and lots of money, but hey

When someone refuses to accept something and reverts back to a (now) silly explanation.  :)

Dizbellever56:  Look, in my opinion all of those trumpet noises heard in our skies are faked!

WitnessBM:  The authorities have now admitted that the recent sounds heard - were - in fact real.

Dizbellever56: Well, erm...I`m sticking with a very noisy train being to blame then.

WitnessBM: The world must have a very unsafe rail service then!
