What made me happy today (just now) was realising I didn't need to speak to my ex solicitor on the phone.  I'd been dreading it since he is highly manipulative which plays havoc with my high blood pressure.  His underhanded behaviour caused me to sack him.

It occurred to me that, since we are now in a complaints procedure situation, that I needed whatever he said in writing so I was relieved to send the barstard an email with a copy to their complaints handler at that branch!  331509.gif

Having heard evidence that democracy is alive, well and working in Scotland - the recent public opposition on fracking has got it banned there!  331509.gif

This is my favourite bit; https://www.theguardian.com/politics/video/2017/oct/04/tory-conference-letter-f-falls-off-slogan-behind-theresa-may-video

the F falling off? There's got to be a metaphor there

Today - a brief but lovely encounter.

I entered a shop and a little girl defiantly came and stood right in front of me (like she was demanding to be acknowledged!)  Despite her face being covered in her tousled hair, she was adorable.  I said a pronounced 'hallo' (like I was intrigued) and she gave a small, really cute wave of her hand, which I reciprocated.  Gorgeous!  color.gif

If this doesn't make anyone happy. Then you have a cold soulless heart. Cause even kittens make me happy.

I'll admit it. I'm pretty happy from them kitties. Well done.

Finding natural products to curb my excessive clenching....and making the pain in my left jaw a little less...

Small things to be thankful for...

That's interesting - what are the products?

(When going to sleep, we tend to lack awareness of our facial expression. I sometimes find that, before I am dropping off to sleep, I have a clenched jaw so I consciously relax it....along with any frowning!)

Recovering photos and videos that were lost because of a computer virus and were overwritten.

We got a few but not all back using a special program.

I'd be happier if that one wasn't trying to murder his or her brother or sister. :(

Today what made me happy was getting a real bargain at a jumble sale.  I bought this painting, framed and with an engraved brass plate depicting the title Reading by the window - C. J. Lewis.   I asked "how much?" (thinking he might say around £30 for some reason) - he said £1!!!!  Even the poster is around £10!

My daughter had a nice Octoberfest party last night. They had a roaring fire and cooked wings, brats, corn on the cob and there was plenty of German beer...
