Awakening, on the boat, on a fine, late summer morning, to the harbor's gentle roll, and the scent of the sea air... 'course, it's only moments later that reality strikes, and we have a gasket/seals kit to install... where's that 15mm? Aaaaah, another thing that makes me happy:

Believing that a certain tool is in a certain spot, and discovering it to be so...

I'm happy in part because of all the success the Red Sox and Patriots have had this century.

That ..."person"... Called Louis who lost his place in the BB house after breaking way too many house rules.

The way he treated people with his warped & obession, paranoid mentality really made my blood boil.

I'm happy because my son has told me he's bought his ticket to come and spend 10 days with me over Christmas :)

Football. Elvis. Graffiti. 3D films.Selling childhood toys on eBay. Seeing a foil balloon all tangled up in a hedge down a desolate country road. Going easy on my workforce when another supervisor would just loose their shh. Playstation. Rainbows. Just having the time to sit down and read a sunday paper cover to cover. Taking your dog for a walk. John Shuttleworth. Stare-out contests with pretty girls. Wearing a watch that's the exact balancing point between modest and ostentatious. Prank phone calls. Sausages and too much gravy. Seeing a housewife lose her temper with one of her kids in public. Iain Lee's radio show. Poundland. Sneering. Lucid dreams. Leather jackets. Serious Jockin. Pulling a stupid face. Drones. Flirting. The paranormal. Stroking a friendly cat in the street. Writing a story. The Marx Brothers. The Severn Bridge. Comics. A car pulling up to the curb and you giving them directions. Youtube dank meme videos. Hiding something surprising in your mates' pockets like a reverse pick-pocket, like a tiny photo of Mussolini or a nudey playing card. Throwing a bit of tin foil off a rail bridge so it drifts for meters and metres just dancing and dancing in the gale force wind. Churches. Betting shops. Putting some loose change in the toilet cubicle at work, and then someone adds to it, and then someone else adds to it, and it builds and builds until there's about thirteen quids worth of bronze and silver, and then when someone finally takes it, you get to speculate about who the scav is. CEX. Getting lost in the countryside. Action figures. Telekinesis. In a meeting at work, and someone says something contentious, and everyone speaks at once in response, but you just say something stupid like, "Monkey Trousers!" or "I'm Spartacus!" When one of your mates announces they've just watched one of your favourite films for the first time, and you can finally discuss it (most commonly 'The Abyss' or 'Freddy Got Fingered'). Too much coffee. Ray Harryhousen. When the road is clear on both sides and you can briefly drive into the wrong lane to avoid a pot hole, and the car behind just goes straight over it like a chump. Phoneboxes full of secondhand books. Stealing things from work, but it's actually morally acceptable because you've earned the company a disproportionate amount of money. Lighting each match in an oversized pack and letting each one burn down to your thick fingers before cursing and shouting. 80's nostalgia. Robot animals. Too much salt and vinegar on your chips. Wearing sunglasses. When they give away free posters in the cinema lobby. Beer. Waking up in the middle of the night and then just reading a book till you fall asleep again. Kaleidoscopes.

Quiet moments outside, when the light of the day is slowly disappearing.

Moments that feel like you have the world to yourself.
