8 lives left to go. its remarkable the way cats land spreading their weight and so absorbing most of the impact in the joints equally like shock absorbers.

yup, cats are tough! sis had one named snowball that jumped in the BURNING trash burning barrel , because Ma put a dead mouse in there,

Burned off All it's fur and took off in late autumn!! .. and came back with new fur in the Spring! I don't know how it lived through the severe COLD.

thanks Astra ya, can't remember whatever happened to Snowball eventually... but ,, he was fine. I love cats, but they can sure worry you when they disappear for three days! .. or your going up and down the beach all night on vacation going ... Kitty Kitty Kitty ! .. I think she had been in the tree next to the tent all night lol

There is a deep and profound meaning to this kitty fall event. Let me see.... Cats have nine lives. Gizmo falls nine floors and survives. The meaning is right there but just out of reach..... Hmm......

Edited to add: I am glad Gizmo survived. I'll bet he is contemplating the deeper meaning right now.
