Atuke Posted November 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Very cool. I wonder if these Go-Pro cams and others can be mounted on various animals, especially endangered ones such as the Rhino. Then they can be tracked in real-time and somehow used in conjunction with the use of small drones to watch and help prevent poaching. Something can/has to be done with all this great technology. Maybe even an eagle or falcoln can be trained to act like a drone to scope out these poachers then appropriate actions taken before they do their killing.
xYlvax Posted November 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Amazing..It would be incredible, as Atuke says, to be able to scope out other animals in their "eye-view." It is a wonderful change in perspective and hopefully will have more people aware of these species. Way cool idea here.

Minds_Eye Posted November 22, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 22, 2014 Breath-taking...So that's what it's like to ride on the back of an eagle in flight! Can you imagine if a deep sea camera could also be attached to the head of whale as it travels the oceans?
