We weren't even aware he's not home, our cats are freely going in and out. But he was poisoned, disoriented, dying, in the middle of the road - and we found him because my husband decided to take different road home, for no apparent reason. We got him to the vet in the last moment. That was the first time he was saved, against all odds. Then he disappeared again, while he was still recovering from poisoning, mostly blind and disoriented, but we found him again by another strain of statistically impossible 'coincidences'. He regained his health, became very attached to us but he had to go exploring the village and yep, disappeared for the third time. We turned the village upside-down, but we couldn't find him. I kept having a strong feeling that he's alive. But I couldn't find him. More than a month later, about 5 km away from home, we met again. He was waiting for me, practically at my work place. If he somehow found his way home, maybe I could accept that as something almost explainable, but how on Earth he ended up so far away from home, but in the exact spot where I work?) 3 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
