a big bumble bee

bends dead-nettle but gently

slightly embarrassed

(I know it's just my overactive imagination, but I could swear I can notice certain embarrassment in the way bumble bees fly away when they bend flower stalks with their weight.)

slightly embarrassed

full brimmed purses of honey

line their dressing rooms

solitary bumblebees actually store their honey in little purses.... Unlike the honey bee; in combs, if you didn't know.

And I too must have an overactive imagination, as I think the same thing....Isn't that interesting. Even to the point of a relieved smile, when they leave the stem and it bounces back

I didn't know that... I was wondering recently why I don't know anything about bumble-bee-hives and each time I forgot to look it up.

We've got the giant, bluish-black ones too, they're amazing and completely friendly.

sunbathing in grass

(True story from this afternoon. Non-venomous, the fastest European snake once it decides to move out of your way, but it doesn't want to move. You change your direction. At least that's how we translated that hissing.)
