on sunny side of mountain

first snowdrops appear

(Snowdrops will bloom until March, when they normally bloom in normal parts of the world :D but on my mountain, the first snowdrops appear around Christmas. Only in spots shielded from wind and exposed to sun, of course. Those that grow in shadow may wait until April. Such small distance, such big difference.)
