Of course, but a lot of them only get a few dozen or hundred votes and don't matter, really the only ones who get anywhere are the ones I put in the poll.

We wont want to live in a limited two party system, or have some stupid system where a party has to get a court to say it can run. So as long as a party can afford a fee and list enough members (I think its 50) to fill cabinate positions should they win, they can run.

Plus, this isn't counting any Independents, where someone runs of MP by themselves without any party. A lot of the time they are more preferable to some, and a number to get elected ever year.

Plus we also have two a few joke parties like the Natural Law Party who believe in legalising flying (although they take themselves insanely seriously) and the Official Monster Raving Loony Party... who stand for nothing really wacko.gif

Joke is, we had some guy a few years back run for a local council election dressed in a donkey outfit as a protest vote.... and he won rolleyes.gif

You now, it's funny....a few months ago, someone declairing themselves to be a Torry would make my skin crawl and my hair stand on end...but after the US elections, it's not so bad huh.gif

I guess after seeing the Republicans, I know what the worst REALLY look like tongue.gif After those loonies, the Tories don't look that bad tongue.gif

*still certainly does not want them in charge of the country*

The SSP are socialists.... that’s the problem, their to 'pure'. wacko.gif Their manifesto is so left wing its unbelievable, it simply doesn't allow doesn't mention a transaction stage like the centre-left. Basically their beliefs are good, but they have no idea what the implementation of those beliefs would do. The 'class ceiling' for example on income would have all our millionaires flee the country and destroy our economy. It also destroys my faith in them when they field Rosy Kane........ oh my god.

As for the SNP, they do think Scotland is viable... that’s the point. They reject this notion that we need English aid to survive and wish for self-determination. Plus, if we're Independent, we'll never have to deal with the Tories again, their an endangered species up here devil.gif

As for Labour, their just the New Tories, I hope the Liberals make gains on them this election.

Don't worry, we'll have another thread nearer the time, but this one I wanted to be serius on tongue.gif

Agreed, but look at it this way, another Tory government will help break up the UK thumbsup.gif

Yeah but what would be left of scotland by the time the Union is broken up,a wasteland, they tried to racially destroy us in the 80's and when your voting next year do well to rememeber that every vote outside labour is a vote for the tories,

WE CANNOT ALLOW THEM BACK IN PEOPLE ,, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD VOTE LABOUR.

Don't worry, I don't think the Tory's have a hope in hell of winning. They are a bigoted, 'little-Englander', fascist, europobic party with Dracula as their leader
